On September 11, 2001, Molly's mother goes to an appointment at the World Trade Center and never comes home. Raised by her father and stepmother, Molly grows up fearing disasters. She now runs the Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response. She and her husband Jesse find solace in their love, until an unexpected event upends their marriage.
